Breakfast

A new way of eating. Out with the old and in with the new. In an effort to lower my blood sugar, eliminate symptoms and get healthy, I have had to eliminate many foods from my diet. I have always been a creature of habit, and for years and years I would eat a cherry yogurt and a nature valley granola bar. I would also snack on grapes and cheese, and none of these were good for me. So I have switched now to fruits and turkey bacon. (blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, pineapple and apple)
Though I could eat the same thing every single day. I do switch it up from time to time. But here is what was on the lineup for today.

Fruit & Blueberry Muffins
For breakfast today – more fruit. (Strawberries, apples, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.) And also as a bonus, a blueberry muffin. See the recipe below which requires almond flour, almond milk and some maple syrup to sweeten it up. I also add stevia as well if I need a little more sweetness.

Fruits and Turkey Bacon
I eat a variety of fruits for breakfast that I sprinkle with Stevia. My favorite Turkey Bacon is a Peppered Turkey Bacon found at your local Trader Joe's.
